We are excited to open up our doors again to visitors at Craters of the Moon. We will open our doors Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 9:00am-4:30pm Saturday and Sunday only. The following Wednesday we will start the new winter hours Wednesday-Sunday,. Drive safe and check road conditions before coming out.
Due to inclement weather the Bookstore and Visitor Center will remain closed until Friday January 14, 2022 (weather permitting). Check road conditions and closures before traveling, and stay safe!
From November 29 through January 6, the Visitor Center, restrooms, and Bookstore will be closed, as well as the Loop Road and caves. The snow has melted off, making the Loop Road accessible to motor vehicles again. Please be careful as there is still currently low visibitlity and the trails are slick. As always check road conditions and be safe!
